Xperia Play, HTC Trophy and BlackBerry Playbook appear in Verizon catalog
Although it’s not quite clear when Verizon will release the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and the HTC Trophy, both smartphones are showcased by the carrier in its “winter 2011” catalog.
Of course, both devices (an Android and a WP7 one) will likely be out months before winter – after all, Verizon repeatedly said the Xperia Play would be released “this spring”.
The 4G-enabled Samsung Droid Charge (which may hit the shelves tomorrow) appears in the catalog, too.
The new catalog also showcases RIM’s first tablet – the BlackBerry Playbook. This is also coming soon to Verizon, although the carrier had doubts whether or not to launch it.
