Acer Iconia Smart, Iconia Tab 500 and Iconia Tab 100 launched in India
Acer has officially launched three new Android devices in India: a smartphone and two tablets.
The smartphone is the Acer Iconia Smart A300, which was introduced back in February at MWC 2011.
Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and featuring a huge 4.8 inch display with 1024 x 480 pixels, the Iconia Smart is certainly one of the most interesting handsets to hit the market this year. The Iconia Smart should be available in India in 4 to 6 weeks for an unknown price. It could become India’s second Gingerbread smartphone, after the Google Nexus S.
As for the two tablets, these are, of course, the 10-inch Acer Iconia Tab 500 and the 7-inch Acer Iconia Tab 100 (both running Android 3.0 Honeycomb).
The Iconia Tab 500 will be out in India starting the next few weeks for 27,990 INR ($630), followed by the Iconia Tab 100.
