LG Optimus Black launching in the UK next week
Announced back in January at the same time with the Optimus 3D, the LG Optimus Black P970 is now finally ready to be released in the UK.
According to Pocket-lint, LG has confirmed that the Optimus Black would be available in UK shops starting the end of next week.
The new handset is only 9.2 mm thin, runs Android 2.2 (upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread) and features a 4 inch WVGA Nova display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP rear camera with 720p video recording, 2MP front-facing camera, 2GB of on-board memory, 512MB of RAM, and a single-core 1GHz processor.
Unlocked, the Optimus Black should cost about £400 (€442 or $660). If you want to get the smartphone subsidized, you should know that both Orange UK and T-Mobile UK will offer it.
