3 million Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones already pre-ordered
Samsung has recently announced that it received 3 million pre-orders for the new Galaxy S II as of the end of April.
Of course, the smartphone has been released last week in some markets (including the UK), so a part of those 3 million units has been sold already.
As previously reported, Samsung plans to sell at least 10 million S IIs, as it will introduce the handset in 120 countries, via 140 mobile carriers.
The new Galaxy S II is, undoubtedly, one of the nicest smartphones you’ll have the chance to buy this year. It runs the latest version of Android (2.3 Gingerbread) and offers anything you’d need from a mobile device, including the fastest processor available (1.2GHz, dual-core).
Samsung has yet to announce which US carriers will sell the new Galaxy, but I’m pretty sure all major ones are planning to do it.
