If you were anxious for a new Samsung or T-Mobile-related leak, but especially if you were craving for both, here’s something for you. TmoNews received some pictures of the Samsung T759. The prominent T-Mobile branding doesn’t leave us guessing as to what carrier this device is headed to. Apparently T-Mobile is getting ready to market it as the Exhibit, or Exhibit 4G (to keep Tmo’s recent trend of adding ’4G’ to anything alive). As is obvious from the pictures below, the Exhibit will be running Android 2.3.3.
According to the person who leaked these images, this smartphone will have a 3.7-inch 480×800 capacitive AMOLED touchscreen. Other rumored specs include a 1.4 GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, and a VGA front-facing camera.
In spite of the purported 4G branding, it’s unclear right now if this handset’s theoretical peak download speed will be 14.4 Mbps or 21 Mbps. Let’s hope for the latter.
Also unknown is the release date, or even a rough time frame, as well as pricing information. But that’s to be expected since this is in effect the first time we’ve ever heard of the Samsung T759, or Exhibit. More leaks will probably follow, as is usually the case, and they will contain all the other details about this device. So stay tuned.
