HTC Flyer headed to Canada, possibly via Telus
We already know that the HTC Flyer will be released in the US (by Best Buy, and maybe by T-Mobile, too). Now we’re hearing that the tablet will be also introduced in Canada.
The Flyer is mentioned on HTC Sense Canada’s official website, so it could be launched in the country pretty soon.
According to Mobile Syrup, Telus may be the carrier that will offer the Flyer to Canadian customers (or at least one of the carriers).
The Flyer will run Android Gingerbread at launch, but HTC promised that an upgrade to Android Honeycomb is going to be released shortly after. The tablet also features a 7 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels, Sense UI, Wi-Fi, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, and a 1.5GHz single-core processor.
