Canada: Samsung Gravity Touch makes its way to Videotron

After having made its way to both Bell and Mobilicity, the Samsung Gravity Touch is now also available from Videotron in Canada. What exactly is the Samsung Gravity Touch?

It’s a rather interesting featurephone. Yes, that’s true, this isn’t a smartphone, but rather, as carriers usually love to call these devices, a ‘messaging phone’. And it has both a touchscreen and a full physical QWERTY keyboard. Interested?

Then you’ll be glad to find out that the Gravity Touch has a 2.8-inch QVGA (240×320) resistive touchscreen, a 2 MP camera, 3G, Bluetooth, a full HTML browser, microSD card support, and homescreen widgets.

After reading the above specs, you’d expect this handset to be cheap, right? Well, Videotron will sell it to you for $49.95 on its ‘reduced price’, or $199.99 – full price, with no contracts involved.

    Eh. My friend has this phone on T-Mobile here in the US. Not that great. AT&T has a similar version (don’t know the name) that has a capacitive touch screen, rather than the resistive one like the one on this phone.
