Nokia T7 hits the FCC, it’s an N8 variant with TD-SCDMA

The Nokia T7, of which we first heard back in March, has been approved by the FCC – this confirms not only the fact that the handset is real, but also that it’s an N8 variant.

The T7’s approval doesn’t mean anything to US customers, though, because the smartphone is a TD-SCDMA one, thus it’s made for China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile carrier (it serves about 600 million customers).

Obviously running Symbian, the Nokia T7 features a 640 x 360 display and an 8MP camera, and it doesn’t have HDMI.

Nokia has yet to announce the launch date of the T7 – not that we care too much, but at least now we’ve solved the mystery surrounding the phone.
