Sprint’s HTC EVO 3D and HTC EVO View 4G officially arriving on June 24
Sprint has officially confirmed that the HTC Evo 3D and the HTC Evo View 4G would be launched June 24 (just like we’ve heard they would), with Sprint Premier customers being able to get the Evo 3D starting June 21.
The third largest US mobile carrier has also announced the prices of the two new Android devices. As expected, the Evo 3D costs $199.99, while the Evo View 4G costs $399.99 – both prices require a new 2-yr contract agreement.
For a limited time, customers who buy the Evo View 4G on contract will get the HTC Scribe digital pen for free (the pen will be sold separately for $79.99 after the promotion ends).
Both the Evo 3D smartphone and the Evo View 4G tablet will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch. Sprint says the Evo View 4G will receive an upgrade to Android Honeycomb “when it is available for a 7-inch tablet.”
