LG Optimus 2X now available from Videotron in Canada
In Canada, Videotron has launched the LG Optimus 2X today. You may know this device as the world’s first dual-core Android smartphone (and for a very short while it’s even been the world’s only dual-core Android smartphone, but that was a long time ago in smartphone years), or as the T-Mobile G2X – its name in the US of A. No matter what you want to call it, it is the same handset. And now it can be yours if you’re a Videotron customer.
The carrier asks $199.95 for the Optimus 2X on a ‘reduced price’ which requires a monthly service fee of at least $40. You can also get the Optimus 2X at the ‘normal’, full retail price of $529.95 if you so wish.
Whatever option you choose, if you’re interested in this phone, you should head on over to Videotron right now and place your order.
The LG Optimus 2X has a 4-inch 480×800 capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, a dual-core 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, an 8 MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, 8 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD, 512 MB of RAM, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1500 mAh battery.
