In Canada, Koodo Mobile will be the next carrier to sell Apple’s iPhone 4. It was always thought that the iPhone 4 would reach Koodo eventually, but now there’s even some proof, in the form of a leaked screengrab of an internal Koodo system which clearly lists Apple’s latest and greatest smartphone.
Koodo will have both the white and black versions of the iPhone 4, with both 16 GB as well as 32 GB capacities. Unfortunately an exact release date and pricing information have not yet been made official by the Canadian carrier. However, on the latter, MobileSyrup speculates that iPhones will cost $500 with the Tab, or $160 with a yet-unannounced three-year contract (something pretty new for Koodo).
Koodo will apparently have two special iPhone plans. One will cost $65 per month and give you 250 daytime minutes, unlimited evenings and weekends, unlimited messaging, and 500 MB of data. The other plan will be $80 per month and it will give you 500 daytime minutes, and 1 GB of data, while in all other respects being identical to its cheaper sibling.
Another device that may be making an appearance in Koodo’s portfolio pretty soon may be the BlackBerry PlayBook. RIM’s tablet is, of course, widely available in its native country, but it hasn’t so far been on Koodo. That may change, according to this video also obtained by MobileSyrup:
If what you’ve just seen above is true, then expect Koodo to stock the PlayBook sometime soon.
