Nokia E6 now available in the UK, Nokia X7 in the US

A couple of weeks ago, Nokia announced that the X7 and E6 have started shipping. And now the two latest Symbian devices, both running Symbian Anna, are finally available to order, albeit on different sides of the pond.

First off, the QWERTY + touch E6 is now in stock at Nokia UK. The smartphone is available in white, black, and silver, and can be yours for £349 SIM-free, £339 on Pay as you go, and free if you decide to sign a new two-year contract with a UK operator. You need to get a contract of at least £25 per month in order to get the phone for free. Also, shipping is free if you get the handset SIM-free.

So if you want to be one of the first people in the UK to own a brand new Nokia E6, just head on over to Nokia UK now and order yours. Be advised though that Nokia’s own store is generally a bit more expensive than other retailers. However, right now it looks like that’s the only place where the E6 is in stock, so if you can’t wait, go for it. If you are patient, you may want to check other online retailers in a couple of weeks or so – you may just get the device cheaper.

The Nokia E6 has a 2.46-inch capacitive touchscreen, a full physical QWERTY keyboard underneath that screen, a 600 MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, 1 GB of ROM, 8 GB of internal storage space expandable via microSD card, an 8 MP camera with dual-LED flash and 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HSPA, GPS, and a 1500 mAh battery.

On the other side of the pond, almost half a year after seeing its AT&T version cancelled, the Nokia X7 has become available in the US from STM Miami. To get one, you need to shell out $535.95, and the only color currently in stock is Dark Steel. Now granted, that price is a lot more than the average American is used to pay for a smartphone, but this will, obviously, get you a SIM-free, unlocked device. If you’re interested, go to STM Miami and order your new X7.

The Nokia X7 has a 4-inch 360×640 capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, a 680 MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, 1 GB of ROM, an 8 MP camera with dual-LED flash and 720p HD video recording, microSD card support, Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, Bluetooth, and a 1300 mAh battery.

I personally hate motorola. So i have to go with the Nokia 5610. The design is quite plain, but it’s specs aren’t that bad.
