HTC Sensation now up for pre-order at Three UK, ships on June 29
The HTC Sensation has reached pre-order status at UK operator Three. The Sensation is, at the moment, a Vodafone exclusive in the UK, and has been ever since it was launched. However, we found out not long ago that this exclusivity is bound to end pretty soon, with the Sensation supposedly becoming available on contract from O2 later this month and from Orange at the beginning of July.
Three has one-upped those operators though since it gives an actual release date. If you pre-order a Sensation right now, it will ship it to you starting on June 29. Knowing exactly when the superphone will start shipping may matter for the phone-hungry early adopter (that isn’t a Vodafone customer or fan, of course).
You can get the HTC Sensation from Three for free on plans starting at £30 per month if you sign a new two-year contract. The cheapest plan gives you 500 minutes, 5000 texts, and 1 GB of data each month. Alternatively, if you need more bundled stuff, you can get Three’s The One Plan for £37 per month, and that will give you 2000 minutes, 5000 texts, and All-you-can-eat data.
If you’re interested, head on over to Three and pre-order your HTC Sensation now.
The HTC Sensation has a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, a 4.3-inch 960×540 capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, an 8 MP autofocus rear camera with dual-LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, a VGA front-facing camera, 1 GB of internal storage, 768 MB of RAM, microSD card support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, and a 1520 mAh battery. The HTC Sensation runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC’s Sense UI overlay.
