Sony Ericsson WT19i leaks, may be another Android Walkman
By Vlad Bobleanta on 16 Jun 11A yet-unheard of Sony Ericsson Android-powered smartphone has leaked via user agent profiles discovered by Xperia Blog. The model number is WT19, and it will have two versions, WT19i (that’s going to be the ‘international’ one as per Sony Ericsson’s traditional naming scheme), and the WT19a (which may have some American-specific bands).
Not much information has surfaced in those UAProfs, however we do expect to find out more about this device soon. What we do know already is that it will be powered by a Cortex A8 processor, it will have 320×480 screen resolution, and, based on that possibly a screen size between 3 and 3.2 inches. The WT19 will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Now since the WT18i turned out to be a Walkman-branded phone headed to China, the WT19i may just be another Sony Ericsson device to sport the Walkman brand. After all, the first ever Walkman Android smartphone, the W8, was rather a disappointment at least spec-wise. So perhaps the WT19i will be the Walkman we all wanted the W8 to be. The first details about its specs, seen above, certainly seem to point that way. We’ll keep you posted.
