LG Optimus 2X P999 to be launched by Wind Canada really soon

Not long after it was introduced by Videotron, the LG Optimus 2X seems to be making its way to another Canadian mobile carrier, namely Wind.

Mobile Syrup received a photo of a Wind-ready Optimus 2X (model number P999 – the same T-Mobile’s G2X), and it looks like the carrier could launch the handset within the next few days.

There’s no word on how much Wind will ask for it, but customers should expect a price similar to the one asked by Videotron: $529.95 outright.

The Optimus 2X runs Android 2.2 (upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread, and probably to Android Ice Cream Sandwich, too) and features a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, a 4 inch WVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, HDMI, 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and 8GB of on-board storage space.
