Nokia X2-01 to be launched by Rogers in Canada
Released earlier this year in the US by T-Mobile, the Nokia X2-01 will be crossing the northern border soon, as Rogers is getting ready to introduce it in Canada.
The X2-01 is already featured on Nokia Canada’s website (see here), however, that’s not where details on its upcoming lunch via Rogers have appeared. Instead, Mobile Syrup found a release note in Nokia Care Suite, which suggest a grey version of the handset is headed to Rogers.
The X2-01 is a basic QWERTY candybar with a 2.4 inch QVGA landscape display, GSM / GPRS / EDGE connectivity, stereo FM radio, and a VGA photo camera.
Considering its low price (about $80 with no agreement whatsoever) the Nokia X2-01 could be offered by Rogers only on Pay As You Go – just like the C3, another basic Nokia QWERTY handset that costs $89.99. More on this as we get it.
