HTC ChaCha now available at T-Mobile UK, free from £20.42 per month
After having become generally available in the UK, then subsequently getting picked up by Vodafone, Three, O2, and even Virgin Mobile, the HTC ChaCha is now finally available from T-Mobile UK as well.
The HTC ChaCha is, of course, the Facebook-centric QWERTY candybar Android smartphone that’s meant to make your social life easier. It comes with a 2.6-inch 480×320 capacitive touchscreen, a full physical QWERTY keyboard, an 800 MHz processor, a 5 MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 512 MB of ROM, 512 MB of RAM, microSD card support, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 1250 mAh battery, and that all-important Facebook touch. The ChaCha runs Android Gingerbread.
T-Mobile will give you a ChaCha for free if you get a 24-month contract that will cost you at least £20.42 each month. For that amount you’ll be getting 300 minutes, 300 texts, and 500 MB of data. The cheapest plan you can get the ChaCha on costs £10.21 per month and includes 100 minutes and 100 texts, but if you get it, you’ll have to pay £135 upfront for the phone. The most expensive plan available for the Facebook phone costs £56.17 per month and gives you unlimited minutes and 500 texts.
But there are many other plans to choose from, depending on your particular needs, so make sure you go to T-Mobile and review all of them before you make a decision.
