HTC Evo 3D passes through the FCC headed to T-Mobile
An HTC Evo 3D, disguised under the model number PG86300, has passed through the FCC. And no, it’s not Sprint’s Evo 3D, since that’s already available in stores. It’s also not the Europe-bound version of the HTC Evo 3D.
What is it, then? It looks like it’s an HTC Evo 3D which is going to be sold, at some point in the future, by none other than T-Mobile in the US. The phone comes with the required 3G bands (umm, sorry, 4G), and since that particular combination of bands is rather unique and not something widely used outside of North America, it’s pretty clear that the magenta carrier is about to get its own taste of HTC-made 3D.
Unfortunately, those are all the details we have for now. But that’s always how it is with stuff passing through the FCC – there’s little information other than the sheer confirmation of a phone’s existence. Although if there actually is going to be a T-Mobile Evo 3D, we expect to hear a lot more about it very soon.
