HTC Panache now available at Cincinnati Bell, $199.99 with contract
The HTC Panache is now available at Cincinnati Bell. What do you mean you don’t know what the HTC Panache is? Well, it’s a smartphone you probably know as T-Mobile’s myTouch 4G. Since that trademark is owned by T-Mobile, HTC is selling the same device to other carriers under the Panache name.
So far, we’ve seen the Panache on its way to Canadian carriers not once, but twice. And here it is at Cincinnati Bell too. The price being asked is what you’d expect for a smartphone in this day and age: $199.99 with a new two-year contract.
If you’d rather purchase the device without signing a new agreement, that will cost you $399.99, which is a bit lower than what carriers usually ask in these cases.
Anyway, if you’re interested, Cincinnati Bell is eager to take your order.
The HTC Panache has a 3.8-inch 480×800 capacitive touchscreen, a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 768 MB of RAM, 3.7 GB of ROM, microSD card support (an 8 GB card comes in the retail package), 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, a 5 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, a secondary front-facing VGA camera for video calls, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and a 1340 mAh battery. The HTC Panache runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense.
