LG Optimus White Edition launched in the Netherlands
LG has officially released the white version of its Optimus Black smartphone in the Netherlands.
Unlike in the UK, where the handset is still called Optimus Black (and can only be pre-ordered), in the Netherlands it’s called LG Optimus White Edition. And it’s available as of now, via a brand new mobile operator: Sizz (backed by Vodafone and RTL).
Feature-wise, there’s no difference between the Optimus Black and Optimus White. Both run Android 2.2 (upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread) and come with a 4 inch WVGA Nova display, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 1GHz single-core processor, and 2GB of on-board memory.
You can check out (and buy) the Optimus White Edition here at Sizz. The smartphone is offered for free on various plans, and customers even get a 60 Euro voucher.
