Motorola Pro goes to France on SFR
The Motorola Pro is basically what we know as the Droid Pro for Verizon sans the Droid branding. It’s been announced as the Motorola Pro back in February during MWC, and since then we’ve heard that it may become available in the UK this month.
Today Motorola officially unveiled the Motorola Pro for France. This is identical to other Pro smartphones in all respects except for the keyboard, which, in pure French tradition, is of the AZERTY variety. The funny thing is that Motorola’s official picture to accompany its press release is clearly not of a Pro headed to France (see the keyboard).
Anyway, the Motorola Pro will be available in France from carrier SFR, and it will cost €299 without a contract-signing requirement. An exact release date is unfortunately unknown at this point, since all Motorola said was that it will happen ‘this summer’. Make of that what you will.
The Motorola Pro has a 3.1-inch 320×480 capacitive touchscreen, a 5 MP autofocus camera with dual-LED flash and 480p video recording, a 1 GHz processor, 8 GB of internal storage space, microSD card support, 10.2 Mbps HSDPA, 1.8 Mbps HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1420 mAh battery.
