New ZTE Tureis and Libra Android phones coming to the UK

Although it has recently partnered with Microsoft for making Windows Phone devices, ZTE remains a manufacturer mainly committed to Android.

The Chinese company has already sold millions of Android handsets, and it obviously wants to sell more.

Enter the ZTE Libra and ZTE Tureis, two new Android phones that will be released in the UK soon (and probably in other markets).

Both devices currently run Android 2.2 Froyo, and will not be expensive. The ZTE Libra features a 3.5 inch HVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, 3.2MP camera, 512MB of RAM, and a 600 MHz processor.

The ZTE Tureis also has a touchscreen display, but only a 2.6 inch QVGA one, because it offers a full QWERTY keyboard, too. Other features: HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 3.2MP camera, and an 800MHz processor.

Clove even has a hands-on video of the Tureis:

ZTE also said that it would offer the ZTE Skate unlocked to UK customers starting next month. Orange has the Skate, too, but it’s selling it re-branded as Orange Monte Carlo.
