Verizon Motorola Droid 3 now just $149.99 with contract
Verizon’s Motorola Droid 3 has only been available online from Big Red itself for the past week, and today it’s also started selling in stores, and, apparently, at other online retailers. Which can only mean one thing: the deals are already here.
The first retailer to have the Droid 3 for sale cheaper than Verizon is Wirefly. It now offers the Android-powered superphone for just $149.99 with a new two-year contract. That’s precisely $50 cheaper than what Verizon asks for the handset, so in terms of deals, the Droid 3 is clearly up to a good start.
If you want to get even better deals on this phone, you should probably wait, as its price is bound to keep on dropping at third-party retailers. However, if you’re an early adopter, then you’ll be happy that you can save $50 and will run to
Wirefly now and place an order.
The Motorola Droid 3 has a 4-inch qHD (960×540) capacitive touchscreen, a dual-core 1 GHz TI processor, an 8 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, a secondary front-facing 1.3 MP camera, 16 GB of internal storage space, 512 MB of RAM, microSD card support, a full physical 5-row side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1540 mAh battery.
