UK: Samsung Google Nexus S now just £299.99 SIM-free and unlocked
The Samsung-made Google Nexus S was launched back in December as the second ‘pure Google’ Android smartphone. Since then, it’s seen a rather cool deal in the UK in May, when its Super LCD version went for just £318. Today, however, the mother of all Nexus S deals has landed in the UK courtesy of well known online retailer Play.com.
It now offers the Nexus S for the incredibly low price of £299.99 (SIM-free and unlocked) with free delivery. What’s more, according to the retailer’s listing, this is the version of the phone with the Super AMOLED touchscreen, which is usually more expensive than its Super LCD sibling. And while the latter isn’t bad either, the former is a joy to look at.
So if you’re in the UK, are after an Android-powered smartphone, and don’t know which one to get, get this. If you’d like to always be up to date with the latest version of the mobile operating system, the Nexus S will do that for you. Furthermore, it comes with ‘vanilla’ Android, not modified in any way, shape, or form by any manufacturer. Some like them like that.
If you’re interested, Play.com is anxiously waiting for your order.
