DROID Bionic coming to Verizon early September?
The DROID Bionic was first shown at CES back in January, but Verizon or Motorola have yet to confirm a release date for the highly anticipated device. Recent rumors suggest that the device will be released August 4th, but that is highly doubtful. Another rumor is September 1st, which sounds more realistic according to a report released this morning.
This report indicated that Motorola representatives have been informing Verizon employees that they can expect the Bionic early September. The source indicated that the Bionic had the same 4.3-inch display as the DROIDX2 and DROID3, but it has much less ghosting. The source also mentioned that the device is much more lighter and more responsive than expected, most likely thanks to a new slimmer display and extra RAM.
The DROID Bionic will run on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. I don’t know about you, I’m pretty excited about this device finally coming to Big Red(lets hope this rumor is true). No info on pricing yet, but we will keep you updated on the Bionic as more information becomes available.
