Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro coming soon to Orange UK
We already knew that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro was headed to Orange UK, and now the carrier has officially confirmed this, by adding the smartphone to its website’s coming soon section.
Orange says it will offer the Mini Pro for free on pay monthly plans, but it doesn’t mention when exactly the handset is going to be out.
Anyway, the new Xperia Mini Pro runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and comes to replace the old X10 Mini Pro. It features a 3 inch HVGA multi-touch display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP autofocus rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and a 1GHz single-core Snapdragon processor. You can go here at Orange to check out the handset, although whoever’s in charge of putting up phones on the website wasn’t able to find an image of the new Mini Pro, and just included some photos of the old X10 Mini Pro.
There, I fixed that for you, Orange (you owe me 10 bucks):
Orange aside, customers will be able to buy the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro with contracts from most of the other major British carriers (O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone).
