White Samsung Galaxy S II coming to O2
O2 UK has joined Vodafone and Three in confirming that it would sell the white Samsung Galaxy S II starting September. It didn’t mention for how much, but customers will surely be able to get the handset for free on select plans (that’s how things go in the UK).
Like its dark brother, the white S II comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 4.3 inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, TouchWiz UI 4.0, 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM.
You can see O2′s new white smartphone here.
Samsung didn’t say if it plans to launch the white Galaxy S II in other markets besides the UK. But I see no reason for it not to.
