Sprint-branded BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 spotted
We’ve already seen Verizon’s BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930, and now it’s time to take a peek at the version for Sprint, which has just appeared in an officially-looking render.
Sure enough, Sprint’s 9930 is not different from Verizon’s version, but it’s good to see it – since this is some sort of a confirmation that the third largest US carrier will sell it it someday. Sadly, we don’t know when exactly this will happen. But we know that the Bold Touch 9930 won’t be the carrier’s only BlackBerry 7 smartphone, since the Torch 9850 should also be launched (sometime “this fall”).
Like the 9900 (its GSM/HSDPA-only edition), the BlackBerry Bold 9930 features a 2.8 inch VGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP rear camera with 720p video recording, 768MB of RAM, 8GB of on-board memory, and a 1.2GHz single-core processor.
