HTC Vigor gets listed for a moment in the Netherlands, photo included
Remember the HTC Vigor? You probably do, since it’s definitely not a device one can easily forget. HTC’s upcoming flagship Android-powered smartphone is headed to Verizon in the US from what we’ve heard before, but one of the main questions left unanswered thus far was whether it will also make its way to Europe.
And based on what happened yesterday in the Netherlands, it most certainly looks like the Vigor will hit European shores at some point in the (hopefully near) future. HTCInside received a screenshot of the HTC Vigor sitting nicely on The Phone House’s website. The Phone House is the Dutch arm of well known UK retailer Carphone Warehouse. Here’s the screenie:
As you can see, the retailer has conveniently included a render of the device for our viewing pleasure. It’s the first image of the Vigor so far, so let’s hope this is real. The product listing wasn’t up for long, according to those who saw it. Of course there’s a chance that this is all fake. Then again, there’s a chance it isn’t. In which case, color us interested.
The Phone House’s listing also managed to confirm some specs we knew of already. The Vigor will have a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 4.3-inch 1280×720 HD touchscreen. It will run Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, with HTC Sense 3.5 atop, and will come with Beats by Dr. Dre technology.
