Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro launched in Canada by Fido
Officially announced back in February (at the same time with the Xperia Play and Xperia Neo), the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro has only now become available – not worldwide, but just in Canada, where Fido has started selling the handset for $50 on contract (3-yr agreement required).
The Xperia Pro is the QWERTY-equipped brother of the Xperia Neo, and it features Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3.7 inch FWVGA Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, HDMI, 8MP rear camera with Exmor R sensor, VGA front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, and 1GHz single-core processor.
Interested customers over in Canada can buy the SE Xperia Pro right away by visiting Fido’s official website. The smartphone should become available in Europe and other markets starting later this month.
