White HTC Droid Incredible 2 will be a Best Buy exclusive, priced at $149.99
Last month we first got word about the imminent release of a silverish-white version of Verizon’s HTC Droid Incredible. Back then we called it silver, but it does look more white than silver, so from now on we’ll go with white.
So this version of the smartphone was pegged as coming soon, and while we still can’t tell you exactly when you’ll be able to pick one up, we can at least let you know where from.
It turns out that Best Buy will be the outlet exclusively selling the white Droid Incredible 2. This information comes straight from the retailer’s Buyer’s Guide, the September 2011 edition. A couple of pictures portraying said guide have been sent to Android Central, and here we are.
We also have a price. The white Droid Incredible 2 will cost $149.99 with a new two-year Verizon contract. At least at first. Best Buy may choose to discount it later on, but this is the ‘base’ price for this device.
Now all that’s left is for Best Buy to start selling the white HTC Droid Incredible 2. And since the phone has been featured in September’s edition of the retailer’s Buyer’s Guide, it’s probably safe to assume that the release will happen next month. We’ll let you know.
