Best Buy will carry white Droid Incredible 2 on August 21
When it comes to smartphones white has quickly become the flavor of the month. Not too long ago, we reported that a white Samsung Galaxy S II was headed to Vodafone UK, and now we can officially add the Droid Incredible 2 to that same list.
This device will sell as a Best Buy exclusive, and will run on Verizon’s network, according to a press release from Best Buy. In this new pastier version of the Inc 2, you’ll find a 4 inch touch screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 768MB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera, and a 1.3MP front facing camera. One huge downfall to this phone is the fact that it comes loaded with Android 2.2 out the box, so customers will have to painstakingly wait for their serving of Gingerbread (2.3).
Best Buy is pricing the snow colored beauty at $149.99 with a 2 year contract agreement. Beginning Sunday August 21, the Incredible 2, will be available at all retail locations including the company’s wireless stores and website.
