Motorola Droid Bionic to cost $587 off contract, Verizon may launch it next week

Although we know pretty much anything there is to know about Motorola Droid Bionic‘s features, we’ve yet to hear an official confirmation regarding its price.

However, if this leaked screenshot (see below) is accurate, the new Droid will cost $587 off-contract. That’s on par with the prices of Verizon’s other three 4G smartphones: HTC Thunderbolt, Samsung Droid Charge, and LG Revolution.

The Bionic’s price with a new 2-yr contract agreement hasn’t been disclosed, but it will probably be $249.99 (or maybe $299, but let’s hope not).

Android Central is reporting that Verizon may launch the Moto Droid Bionic on August 26 – thus before September, as previously rumored. That would certainly be nice, but let’s wait and see what the largest US carrier has to say about this.

Honestly, I barely read the article. Too busy trying to zoom in on the woman in the Droid Bionic picture. But good reporting I guess..
