iPhone 5 coming in October, reportedly says AT&T exec
By now, we all know that a new iPhone will be introduced in the next few months. While Apple hinted that its new smartphone is going to hit the shelves before the end of September, this may not happen after all.
According to BGR and a “high-level” source, an AT&T vice president has “confirmed” that a fifth-generation iPhone would be released in early October.
Reportedly, the same VP has also announced a group of AT&T managers that “things will get really, really busy in the next 35-50 days” – not really a surprise, since this always happens before an iPhone launch.
The biggest question now is: will Apple announce only one new iPhone, or two of them? There have been various reports pointing to a cheaper version of Apple’s smartphone that could be out this year, although no one is sure about this just yet.
In an case, the regular next-gen iPhone – called iPhone 5, or maybe not – should come with a dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera, and hopefully lots of other new features.
