Samsung Galaxy W shows up at O2 UK, will be launched this month
Already announced by Three UK, the new Samsung Galaxy W will also be available via O2. The second largest British mobile operator has added the Galaxy W to its website’s coming soon section, saying the handset will be released later this month.
O2 doesn’t mention the price of its Galaxy W, but customers will surely be able to get it for free on select plans.
Officially unveiled at the same time with the Galaxy M Pro, Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro, the Samsung Galaxy W runs Android Gingerbread, and features: a 3.7 inch WVGA display, HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, 5MP rear camera with 720p video recording, VGA front-facing camera, 2GB of ROM, 512MB of RAM, and a 1.4 GHz single-core Qualcomm processor.
