Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray headed to India
Indian customers can already buy various Xperia smartphones that run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, including the Xperia Arc, Xperia Play, and Xperia Mini. However, the Mini may be seen as too small, and the Arc and Play as too big by some users. So, in case you want something in between, you should be happy to find out that the Xperia Ray is coming to India soon.
Online retailer Flipkart says the Ray costs 18,995 INR (about $399). Unfortunately, it doesn’t say when exactly it will ship it.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray comes with a 3.3 inch FWVGA scratch resistant display, Bravia Mobile Engine, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, TrackID, 8MP rear camera with 720p video recording, VGA front-facing camera, 1GHz processor, and 1GB of internal memory.
