White LG Optimus Black to be launched by Telus

Already available at Telus in a black version (obviously), the LG Optimus Black will be released by the Canadian carrier in white, too.

Just like the black edition, the white one comes with Skype pre-installed, allowing customers to make unlimited Skype-to-Skype calls, and will be priced similarly: from $0 (with a new 3-yr contract agreement) to $399.99 (off contract).

Other than the drastic color change, the new smartphone will not be different from the original, featuring Android 2.2 Froyo (upgradeable to Gingerbread), a 4 inch WVGA Nova display, Wi-Fi, GPS, HSDPA, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and a 1GHz single-core processor.

According to Mobile Syrup, the white LG Optimus Black should be released by Telus tomorrow, September 20.
