After many months of leaks, rumors, and speculation surrounding it, the Motorola Droid Bionic for Verizon was finally made available earlier this month, although it didn’t come cheap. If you got it from Big Red itself you had (and still do) to pay no less than $299.99, even if you chose to sign a new two-year contract. However, Amazon sweetened the deal a little bit by offering the Droid Bionic for $100 less – but if that still wasn’t cheap enough for you, read on.
See, Amazon has decided to make the Droid Bionic even more affordable. So it’s now offering the superphone for just $149.99. You’ll still need to sign a new two-year service agreement, naturally.
If the Bionic isn’t your cup of tea, but the Droid X2 suits your needs, then we have even better news. This smartphone has been discounted in the past, but never as much as now. Amazon will now sell you the Motorola Droid X2 for Verizon for just $0.01. Again, you’ll need to sign a two-year contract to get that price.
But wait, that’s not all. Until September 26, if you’re a new Verizon customer or if you add a line to an existing account and get either of the aforementioned devices, you’ll also receive a free $50 gift card that you’ll be able to use on Amazon.com. Additionally, all Android phone purchases from Amazon come with a $15 Digital Bonus in apps, MP3s, and e-books.
So if you’ve been thinking of getting one of Motorola’s newest Android superphones for Verizon, perhaps the time has finally come to act.
