HTC Explorer to hit the UK on October 31
Officially announced at the end of September as HTC’s most affordable smartphone to date, the HTC Explorer should become available in the UK starting the last day of October.
According to Clove, the Explorer will be in stock on October 31. The retailer is currently asking £192 for the new smartphone – about €223 or $297.
In case you don’t want to buy it unlocked for £192, you should know that Vodafone and Three will also offer the Explorer to British customers (for free on contract).
The HTC Explorer runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sense UI, and features a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.2MP camera, 512MB of ROM, 384MB of RAM, a 600MHz processor, and optional back covers.
