All Verizon phones (Droid Bionic included) offered for $0.01 at Amazon until October 17
Amazon Wireless has announced the so-called Penny-Pincher Sale, which allows customers to buy any Verizon phone in Amazon’s line-up for just $0.01 (new activation required) for a limited time.
Unfortunately, the sale doesn’t include Verizon’s iPhone 4, since Amazon doesn’t offer iPhones on contract at all. But every other Verizon handset is included: Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC Rhyme, Pantech Breakout, LG Enlighten, Casio G’zOne Commando, and so on.
Go here at Amazon Wireless to check out all the $0.01 Verizon phones.
I assume this new Amazon sale has a lot to do with the fact that the new iPhone 4S will be released this Friday – and since the retailer won’t offer it, it makes sense for it to try and sell as many handsets possible before it’s launch day (although the sale will go on beyond October 14, until October 17).
