Quad-core Asus Transformer 2 to be revealed November 7th?

We last heard about the Asus Transformer 2 when Asus confirmed that the tablet would be priced at $499.99. We have also heard from Asus CEO Jerry Chen the the device will be released before the end of the year. UK retailer, LambdaTek has posted a product page for the Transformer 2 on its website with model number TF201-1I020A.

The tablet has a release date of November 7th according to the product page and a price of £448. Both of these fit into the price and time range. Specs wise, the Transformer 2 spots an impressive quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 32 GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, and Android Honeycomb.

I have to admit that it is quite strange that we haven’t seen much of the Transformer 2 online especially with a launch date sometime in December at the latest. We will keep you updated on the status of the Asus Transformer 2 as more info becomes available.

I just want to see if it has expandable memory. 32g is going to fill up fast if it’s replacing my laptop.

Using the cloud storage, I’ve got plenty of space with the current Transformer’s 16 gigs.

I have the current Transformer and it has microSDHC in the tablet for up to 32GB, SDHC in the keyboard dock for more, and can use USB sticks and USB HDD in the two keyboard dock USB ports as well.  It’s said the T2 will use the same dock.  It seems unlikely they would regress on this popular feature.
