Nokia has just announced two new products: a smartphone and a Bluetooth headset.
The smartphone is the Nokia 603, which arrived sooner that we’d expected. Like the Nokia 600, 700 and 701 before it, the new Nokia 603 runs Symbian Belle. According to Nokia, the handset is “designed to appeal to first time smartphone users and those upgrading from older products.”
The 603 features a 3.5 inch ClearBlack display with 640 x 360 pixels, HSPA (up to 14.4Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, NFC, GPS, free turn by turn navigation, Bluetooth 3.0, 5MP camera with 720p video recording at 30fps, 1GHz single-core processor, and a 2GB memory card pre-installed.
The Nokia 603 will be available in black and white, with several optional back covers (you can see them above). The smartphone will be out this quarter for about €200 ($275) before taxes and subsidies – certainly not a bad price for a device with that set of features.
To accompany the 603, Nokia has introduced the Luna Bluetooth headset – a “uniquely designed in-ear device with NFC pairing capabilities.”
The Nokia Luna Bluetooth headset will also be out this quarter. It will cost €69, coming in five color versions: black, white, green, cyan, and fuchsia. More details here.
