Samsung Galaxy Gio launched by Solo Mobile in Canada
Already launched in Canada by Bell and SaskTel back in August, the Samsung Galaxy Gio can now be found at Solo Mobile, too.
The Galaxy Gio seems to be Solo’s best handset to date (hey, it’s a low-cost carrier), coming with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3.2 inch HVGA multi-touch display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth, 3.2MP camera with video recording (restricted to QVGA unfortunately), 800 MHs processor, and a 2GB memory card pre-installed.
Solos Mobile is selling the Galaxy Gio for $49.99 on contract, or $249.99 without contract. Interested customers can buy the smartphone online here.
