Facebook for Windows Phone now plays nice with Mango
Facebook has updated its official application for Windows Phone 7 to support the platform’s latest iteration, namely Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.
The refreshed Facebook app for Windows Phone (version 2.2) features toasts and tile notifications, the ability to pin selected elements of the app, and several other enhancements.
WP Mango users who don’t have it yet can download the Facebook app here at Windows Marketplace.
For now, Windows Phone Mango has reached end users only on older WP devices, and on the Fujistu Toshiba IS12T in Japan. However, starting next month (November), lots of new Mango handsets will be released around the world, including the Nokia Lumia 800, HTC Titan, HTC Radar, Samsung Focus S, Samsung Omnia W, Acer Allegro, and ZTE Tania.
