LG Optimus Pro launched in Canada by Fido as LG Gossip Pro
Officially announced by LG back in July, the Optimus Pro Android smartphone has been released in Canada, where Fido has decided to change its name to LG Gossip Pro.
Fido is asking $40 for the Gossip Pro if you buy it with a new 2-yr contract agreement. Off contract, the handset costs $250 – certainly not a bad price.
Just like the Optimus Pro, Fido’s LG Gossip Pro runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and features a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, an 800MHz processor, and a 3MP camera.

The LG Gossip Pro is Fido’s fourth Android handset in its current line-up, after the LG Optimus 2X, Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, and Samsung Galaxy Q.
