Asus Transformer Prime to ship December for $499, full specs revealed
Android fans have been dying to find out more about the Asus Transformer Prime including a release date more detailed specs about the device after it was revealed at the AsiaD conference in October. Fans can sigh in relief since Asus has decided to let us know all of the details about the device including a price and broad release date.
The Transformer Prime will cost you $499 for the 32GB version and $599.99 for the 64GB version. Specs wise, the Transformer Prime features a 10-inch Super IPS+ Gorilla Glass display with 1280 x 800 resolution, 1 GB of RAM, Nvidia’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor, a 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera, SonicMaster audio, 12 hours of battery, GPS, a Gyroscope, and a 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording. The keyboard shown below will cost you an extra $149 but will add an additional 6 hours of battery life and a USB 2.0 port and full-sized SD slot. The Transformer Prime will initially run on Android 3.2, but we will find out more about an ICS update in early december.
