HTC Sensation XE and Sensation XL launched by Vodafone Australia

Released recently in select European markets, HTC’s new Sensation XL and Sensation XE smartphones are now also available in Australia, thanks to Vodafone.

The Sensation XE and Sensation XL are HTC’s first devices to feature Beats Audio technology. The XE comes with a 4.3 inch qHD (960 x 540) display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and an 8MP rear camera. The XL is bigger, sporting a 4.7 inch display (only WVGA, though), a 1.5GHz single-core processor, and also an 8MP camera on the back.

Vodafone Australia is offering the Sensation XL and Sensation XE for free on select plans – you can check out all the available deals for the XE here, and for the XL here.

Both the Sensation XE and Sensation XL currently run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. However, they will be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in early 2012, alongside other high-end HTC smartphones.
