Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S launched in India. Samsung Galaxy Note to be released there tomorrow
The Xperia Arc S is Sony Ericsson’s latest Android Gingerbread smartphone introduced in India.
Available to Indian customers for 26,995 INR ($542) unlocked, the SE Xperia Arc S is an upgraded Xperia Arc, coming with a 1.4GHz processor, 3D sweep panorama, and all the features from the original handset.

Another new Gingerbread smartphone that’s coming soon to India is the 5.3 inch Samsung Galaxy Note. According to Samsung India’s Facebook page, the Note will be exclusively available at The Great India Place (one of the country’s largest malls) tomorrow, November 12. Reportedly, “normal stores” should get the Note starting next week.
Both the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S and Samsung Galaxy Note will be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the first half of 2012.
