White Samsung Stratosphere headed to Best Buy for Black Friday
Released by Verizon Wireless about a month ago for $149 on contract, the Samsung Stratosphere currently comes in only one color – black. If you don’t particularly like that, and would want to see the handset in a different shade, Best Buy will be of help soon.
According to the image seen below, Best Buy will offer the Stratosphere in white starting Black Friday (November 25). The white Stratosphere will be free (new 2-yr contract required) throughout that day – just like other Android smartphones, including the Droid Incredible 2, Sprint’s HTC Evo Shift 4G, and AT&T’s Moto Atrix 2 and LG Thrill.
The Samsung Stratosphere runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen, LTE connectivity, 5MP rear camera, 1.3Mp front-facing camera, and a 1GHz single-core processor. Normally, Best Buy is selling the Stratosphere for $99.99 on contract.
