LG Eclipse with Android Gingerbread and QWERTY keyboard headed to Bell Canada

Verizon’s LG Enlighten will be introduced in Canada soon, where Bell is reportedly getting ready to launch it as the LG Eclipse.

Essentially, the Eclipse / Enlighten is a slightly redesigned LG Optimus Net (already available at Bell) with an added QWERTY keyboard. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and features a 3.2 inch multi-touch HVGA (480 x 320) display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 800MHz processor, and a 3.2MP camera.

According to Mobile Syrup, the LG Eclipse will be released by Bell sometime later this month. The handset should become a viable option for the carrier’s customers who won’t have the money to buy the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and neither the LG Optimus LTE (which are both coming to Bell in the next few weeks, bringing lots of high-end features – incuding HD displays).
